What is the best way to sooth baby if baby has colic and crying for hours? My baby is 6 weeks old now. advise.

My baby is crying for more than hour every evening. I know it is colic b'cas she is fine all day long.I am giving her mylicon once when she cries but that doesn't help her. somehow it takes more than an hour for her to get settled. I am a feeding mom and does my foods really make her to get this colic? What are the specific foods to aviod? please suggest.
