Puppies birth size?

See puppies size withing the first 1-2 months of birth is this a indacation of how big they will be when there older? because i got the smallest puppy of the little just wanted to know if the smallest normaly stay the smallest and do the biggest stay the biggest? and i need some tips on crate training my gsd puppy she doesn't seem to like to sleep or go in there she prefers to sleep by the kitchen door? and once i crate train her would it be easier to house train?
