Do you have to be good-looking to become a famous singer?

I want to become a famous singer really badly! I love to sing and never really told anyone about this secret of mine. I'm 13 and I would like to become famous one day and be able to do concerts for people and travel the world. Justin Bieber inspired me cuz he comes from Stratford, Onatrio, Canada and I live like a few hours away from there too! But the thing is Im kinda not really to ecstatic about my looks. I heard that if you don't have the right "looks" you can't really make it big into the music industry. I have style but not looks that much. I just have this feeling that fame is where I belong. I love imagining being interviewed and surrounded by fans and doing everything! :)
