Is there something else going on here, or is it just me?

okay, my exhusband has had a problem with prescibtion pain killers for as long as i can remember. Recently, he got a broken wrist and 4 staples in the back of his head. He told me about this and wanted me to explain it to our daughter before he came to get her for visitation. His story was, that he was walking down the street in Norfolk, Va. minding his own business and quoting him, "some black guy threw a beer bottle out the window" which hit him in the back of the head and then he fell and broke his wrist. Then about three weeks later, he wanted me to explain to our daughter that while working (he drives a truck) he was aulted. his story on this one was that someone came up from behind him and stabbed him in the chest and beat him up. They didn't take his wallet, nothing. They just aulted him. In both these incidences, there was no police involvement of any kind. Do you think he's telling the truth, or do you think he owes someone money or something?
