I want to start my own business and i need to know what it takes to flourish..?

Hello yahooers my name is jeremy im 17 and im ready to start a business i know i may seem to young to start a business but im sure i can handle it.. i just want to know the basics of getting on my feet so if there are any business dwellers that have keys to success please teach me your ways...(Other than telling me to go to business school... i cant afford that even with government help lol)
